New Legion Drilling depot at Albury-Wodonga for sonic, geotechnical, CPT and environmental drilling in regional NSW, Melbourne and Victoria

In addition to our Sydney, Brisbane and Townsville depots, Legion Drilling is now also accepting bookings for our new base at Albury-Wodonga. This will help us to provide better service to clients in regional NSW, VIC and ACT reducing mobilisation costs. As a company that was born in Melbourne, we are excited about this move to get active in Victoria once again.

The Albury-Wodonga depot will be the perfect base for our sonic, geotechnical, Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) and environmental rigs working in Victoria and regional NSW, including:

Geoprobe 77/78 Rigs

  • Solid and hollow stem augering

  • Push tube sampling, piston sampling

  • SPT

  • Cone Penetration Testing (CPT), DMT, Seismic, VST, HPT, LIF, MIP, etc.

  • Air rotary

  • Installation of wells, VWPs and other instruments

Rotary Rigs: High-performance Boart Longyear DB520, compact Comacchio GEO 205 and truck-mounted Comacchio MC-T 405/450P

  • Wireline triple-tube diamond coring (PQ3/HQ3/NMLC)

  • Air & mud rotary / washboring

  • SPT/Shelby tubes

  • Augering
